This is a scheduled batch file that runs and completes without any problem - except that the Task Scheduler always lists 0xff as the result. I thought that it was perhaps line eight with the 'goto eof' (where there is no actual label :eof as the last line) but it made no difference.

Feb 18, 2020 · Since the watchdog is really a last line of defense, I like to choose a timeout that is much larger than the time it should take to handle a majority of the events being serviced by the RTOS task or baremetal while() loop. A good rule of thumb is to use a timeout somewhere in the 5-30 second range.
